NFT using for this
growing room but sure
DWC can also adaptable
for this unit.
Meanwhile DWC unit
setup cost should be
calculate differently.
DWC also adaptable but
needs more water
consumption.
Aeroponics can also
adaptable system for the
growing room.
 This growing room has re circulation system. So it is
help to low water consumption. We only support what
the plants are using for growing.
 The water might supply from the city or wellwater
from the deep.
 But in this project, we are using dehumidifier. So the
water obtained from the dehumidifier. So we have a
chance to eliminate the our source for water. Sure the
country climate conditions is important on this point.
 The only negative point on this subject, the power
consumption will be increase due to dehumidifier.
 We need around 100 litter water as a source for the
plants according to climate.
 Extra power needs is 1,8 kw/hour for dehumidifier.
 We might use 2 different lighting for to growing
plants.
 Sure LED technology give many possibilities for
decrease the power consumption. New LED
technology can combines different type of lights
for the optimum growing level.
 Meanwhile LED light investment is little
expensive rather than others. But the power
consumption is low than all others.
 Second way is to use fluorescent lamp for the
growing room. Investment cost is lower than LED
but power consumption is higher than LED.

 Irrigation,
acclimatization, lighting,
air-condition, CO2 and
fertilization are under
control by automation
unit which can operate
also by mobile.
 Even don’t need to open
container door.
 This automation has
alarm control too.
 There are 3 shelves for both side at the side
walls. Each shelve 6 meters long.
 Each shelve has 80 cm wide.
 Plant number is variable according to variety.
 NFT gullies is placed on those shelves.
 Each shelve equipped by LED bars.
 Between the two shelve has 40 cm distance.
 Power capacity is 7 kw/h
 1 pieces 20 ft container dimension based on this
growing room which made by sandwich panels.
 LED light bar are used for lighting.
 Fully automated and ready to run.
 Electricity and water should connect by investor.
 Growing room production place is Izmir /Turkey.
 Transport and shipping should calculate according to
the fixing place. So the cost should be add.
 TAX or VAT not include.
 This cost is according to our design but it can
variable according to different variety of growing or
climate.
 The cost of this growing unit is 65.000 Euro/20 ft.
 Total harvest is 33.692 head/yield for butterhead.
