This document discusses outcomes and opportunities for collaboration from the GUIDE project, which developed tools and guidelines for improving connected TV interfaces for elderly users. It produced: (1) A knowledge web portal sharing guidelines, software, documentation and links. (2) A user model standardizing profiles of user capabilities and preferences. (3) Design support tools including a virtual user simulator. (4) An open-source software framework integrating multi-modal interfaces and personalization. The framework will be available for evaluation and use in connected TV and web applications.
