- 1. GUIDELINES FOR ATTEMPTING THE ENGLISH PAPER WITH BEST WISHES FROM MR. R.S. NATHAN (PGT ENGLISH), KV NO.1, BHUBANESWAR
- 2. Time Management is very crucial in English paper. Hence cater to the word limit and divide the sections of the paper into three hours allotted to you.
- 3. Question No. I & II are more scoring .So, do attempt these questions in the FIRST HALF, otherwise, you will not have much time later on to read the passages. So do these first.
- 4. Answer the Comprehension Questions very briefly. Pick up the answer from the question itself. Don’t add your own views if not asked for.
- 5. NOTE MAKING • USE INCOMPLETE /HALF/BROKE SENTENCES OR PHRASES. • DON’T USE FULL SENTENCES. • USE ABBREVIATIONS. • MAKE A BOX OF ABBREVIATIONS USED • GIVE THE MAIN HEADINGS IN CAPITAL LETTERS. • USE THE APPROPRATE FORMAT.
