 Gulliver is also has name suggest quite
‘gullibe’. He tends to believe what people
tell him and typically takes everything at
face value .he is an honest man and he
expects others to be honest .
 Voyage to Lilliput
 In his first adventure Gulliver displays a
moral superiority to petty through tiny
Lilliputians who show themselves to be
an absurd ,cold hearted ,vengeful and
self serving race.
 His antithesis in the story representing
Voyage to laputa studying
the situation Gulliver relates
the story of successful rebelion
of city of lidalina
 when Gulliver at the country of a
houyhnhnms and yahoos. He is a
honest man. He expect others to be
honest
 Gulliver does not always understand
the meaning of what he see.
 In book I we show Gulliver as morally
and politically superior.
Gulliver represents the middle ground
between pure reason and pure animausm
Lemuel Gulliver is an average man of the
middle class who possesses a keen
curiosity and facility with language.
 His courage and resourcefullness allow
him to survive the challenges of his
voyage.
 Swift also pokes fun at Gulliver's
inability to see his own flaws and those
around him.
