In all coast towns of Israel, moving along the coast means you advance north or south. But driving from Carmel beach towards the port, you actually turn 135 degrees. Add the mountainous residential areas, the creeks dissecting the city, the meandering roads, and get a city which is far from โ€œstraight forwardโ€, literallyโ€ฆ
500 meters above sea level, on Eshkol Towerโ€™s 30 th floor, resides one of the best viewpoints in Israel. Except for views to Mt.
