- 1. Home Automation Application The company is interested in creating an interface that helps users to easily access and control home appliances through a mobile app or website. The Smart Plug is a device that allows you to remotely control your appliances, especially when you are not physically near it. Its functionality is tied to a handy mobile-app with a simple toggle button interface. Its installation is easy because it either connects to an existing Wi-Fi connection or a Smart Hub.

- 3. Problem Statement Smart home device users need a way to manage and control multiple smart home devices conveniently with their mobile phones. Suppose you have multiple smart devices in your home each of which comes from a different brand. Each time you want to control a device, you’ll have to open a new app. That is obviously a frustrating thing to do and the problem increases with more number of brands. Hypothesis I could make a single application for our users which would control all their smart devices. Home Automation Application

User Demand When user on his/her way back to home after office, he/ she wants to switch on the AC with his/her smartphone, so that room temperature is already stable before he/ she enters the room. When he/she on the bed at night, he/she wants to check on all the running appliances, So that he/she can switch them off via my smartphone. When he/she in the office, he/she wants to track activities of his/her family in his/her smartphone, So that he/she can get back to them if needed. When user using washing machine on weekends, he/ she wants his/her washing machine to send me a prior notification on phone about any damage (if at all), So that he/she can connect to the app for any assistant or get any handy tips to fix it on his/her own. Goals : Managing things on his/her own at home while also trying to maintain his/her social life. To live a balanced work and social life. Follow latest trends and technology.
