hospital responsible for procurement, preparation,
storage, dispensing, and distribution of medicines.
• Operated under a qualified hospital pharmacist.
• Involves inpatient & outpatient pharmaceutical
services.

• Procurement of medicines & medical
supplies
• Storage under proper conditions
• Compounding & manufacturing
• Dispensing to inpatients/outpatients
• Quality control & testing
• Distribution to wards/departments

• Ideally on the ground floor near outpatient
