The House of Commons Library provides confidential research and information services to Members of Parliament and their staff. It publishes briefing papers on various bills and topics to help inform parliamentary debates. These papers are produced throughout the legislative process, from initial green papers and white papers through to draft bills and final acts. The research is known for being accurate, impartial, clear, and relying on a wide range of sources. Feedback on the Library's work is welcomed via email.
