How Bad is Sin?
- 1. - 2. In Mark 2 Jesus heals a lame man that was lowered down through the roof. Our Lord saw that this man's main problem was sin, so the first thing He says is "Son, your sins are forgiven!"This caused great distress among the Pharisees that were present. So what is worse? Being sinful or being lame? I think you know this answer but we will explore it a little more in depth and maybe answer some questions like; "Is it a sin to get a tattoo?" "Is it a sin to play the lottery?" "Is it a sin to golf on Sunday?" "Is it a sin to even think about sinning?"

Rom. 6:16 “Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

When he was caught, his family was executed with him. Even godly men such as Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel suffered along with the rest of the nation during the Babylonian captivity. Sometimes we suffer because we are associated with other people who are sinners.
