Second step: Get ready
• Prepare Yourself
• Send out invites with materials if needed
• Rehearse how you will run meeting
• Practice on stage (Online or in person)
• Prepare Presenters
• Talk to presenters ahead of time
• Review their role and how the meeting will run
• Prepare for Clients
• Run thru the meeting with someone on your team
• Anticipate questions
Third step: own it• Start boldly
• Once meeting starts jump in
• No small talk
• Tell them:
• What’s going to happen
• Who is going to make it happen
• What they need to do
• Tell THEM what’s going to happen
