What can you do with this data?
• You can get data on:
• organic keywords (no. and positions)
• traffic (estimated) and cost.
• Google Ads traffic and cost.
• Covers 121 Google ccTLDs and 18 mobile Google
ccTLDs (Mobile update March 2021)
• Great for top-level report across multiple domains
using multiple data points (without hitting your
project limit within SEMrush)

Tip: if you ever get stuck, put your data into a table.
Indicates the solution is to use different date format but
remember 15th

drag 1-3 to the bottom.

• Use unique names for shared dimensions, i.e. Organic Keywords” or “Organic Traffic”

• IMHO easier to add/manage metrics in the data
resources > edit connection screen
• This is a v. basic calculated field to give you 51-100
positions in one block (simplify visualisations)
• Tip: you can manually update Field IDs to connect
graphs together

• Improve report performance
• Can store up to 100MB of data
• Allows flexibility with aggregated data
• Very useful for data with monthly updates
• Optimise your API usage and fees

1. Set naming convention
2. Pull in all dimensions, metrics etc. required
3. Set auto-update dates, and note Last
updated timestamp (tip: save and extract
when making any changes)
