your files will never
be lost

How to Create and
Install
DROPBOX

Open your browser (On this tutorial we
will use Google Chrome)

In the address bar type:
https://www.dropbox.com/

It will go directly to:
DROPBOX homepage

Just below you will see the ‘Sign Up’
portion

Enter:
▪Full Name
▪Best E-mail Address
▪Strong Password

Check the box (as
shown in the next slide)
▪I agree to Dropbox
terms

Click on ‘Sign Up for
Free’

or
‘Sign Up Free with Google’ if you
have google account

For this Tutorial:
▪We will ‘Sign Up for
Free’

This will prompt to: Download Dropbox

You will also received an e-mail to verify
your e-mail address

You may also complete the set up
through the e-mail link they send you

Or Click on ‘Download Dropbox’ instead

Let’s click the box instead. It will prompt
to this page while it is downloading

When done click on the ‘Installer’ below

Click ‘Open’

Click YES when asked ‘Do you want to
allow this app to make changes to your
PC?

DROPBOX Installer will launch and
Downloading DROPBOX will begin

You will see this DROPBOX icon below
your screen while it’s still installing

This will show Installing hopefully you
will not get any error while installing

This page will show after the installation

Enter your e-mail and password and
click on ‘Sign In’

If successful, it will say ‘Congratulations!
Your DROPBOX was successfully
installed’

Then click on ‘Open my DROPBOX’

A welcoming note will appear 

Hover over ‘Get Started’ and click the
button

An INTRODUCTION says: DROPBOX
works like your document or photo
folder on your computer

But…
It also does a lot
more 

Click next button

Files you put in your DROPBOX folder are
automatically backed up for you on
dropbox.com

Awesome right?!

Click the next button

Everything you put in DROPBOX is
‘private’ unless you choose to share it.

Click on next button again

You can drag and drop your first file into
the DROPBOX folder.

How To Maximize Dropbox For Your Business

Click on FINISH button this time

DROPBOX will now automatically appear on
your computer file ‘quick access’ and a PDF
for Get Started with DROPBOX is present

You will now have an icon on your
desktop that looks like this

When you press on Print Screen key on
your desktop or laptop this will
automatically pop up

Let’s try click on ‘save screenshot to
Dropbox’

How to Add Files to
your DROPBOX?
On Windows or Mac

Make sure you’ve
installed the desktop
app on your computer.

Drag and drop files
into the Dropbox
folder.

For Windows: Take this for instance

On dropbox.com
You can either download the
app or Sign in.
Since we are done
downloading the app

On this tutorial we will choose ‘Sign in’
and click the ‘Upload’ button

Choose the file you’d like to add

On iOS or Android
Tap the More Actions
Menu (…) icon in the
top right corner

Choose ‘Upload File’ in iOS

Or ‘Upload Here’ in Android

Select
the location you’d
like to upload files
