4. Because He told you to

How Do I Share My Testimony?
What is a Testimony?
1. It is how your story connects to Jesus.
2. It is telling others of what Jesus has done for you.
3. It is your story of how you came to be a follower of Jesus.
Why Share My Testimony?
Luke 8:38-39
Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him.
But Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your own house, and tell what great things
God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what
great things Jesus had done for him.
Revelation 12:11
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did
not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
Examples from the Bible of Sharing Testimonies
Mark 5:18-20 (The man who had been demon-possessed)
John 9 (The man who had been blind)
Acts 22:1-21 (Paul giving His testimony to the Jews)
Acts 26:1-23 (Paul giving His testimony to King Agrippa)
Why share my testimony?
1. Because Jesus wants you to.
