This document provides instructions for simple fabric printing using a lacing card style technique. The instructions include using an old DVD case or takeaway container lid, drawing a design with marker, drilling holes along the design, lacing string or twine through the holes from the reverse side to create a stamp, applying fabric paint or acrylic paint mixed with fabric fixative to the stamped design, pressing it onto fabric, and heat setting it once dry. The goal is to create a stamped fabric design by lacing string or twine through a drawn design on a surface and using it to transfer the painted pattern onto fabric.
