How to start a discussion with Discuss

Starting a discussion in class involves four steps: 1. Click "Start Discussion" to allow students to submit responses. 2. Deliver your lesson before students respond. 3. Students can then submit answers which the teacher can view. 4. Click "View Comments" to see student responses, or "View Stimulus" to return to the lesson slide. Changing slides pauses students' devices to avoid distractions.

- 4. Click on ‘Start Discussion’ Step 2
- 5. Step 3 Your students will then be able to submit their answers.
- 6. Step 4 Click on ‘View Comments’
- 7. Your student’s comments will appear here To get back to your slide, click on ‘View Stimulus’
- 8. When you change slide, your student’s devices will be paused so that you can teach first without the students being distracted by their phone.
