How to Teach a Do

- 2. Are you getting a dog\puppy and want to make sure that it's trained? . Are you haveing trouble teaching your dog any tricks? . Do you feel frustrated about your dogs\puppies learning habbit or ability? If you answered any of the following questions with the answer yes I would pay attention to what I'm about to teach you.
- 3. Hi I'm Lauren as you may know and I am going to teach you how to have your dog do any trick that comes to mind! Dogs can get very frustrated with you and not want to work with you agian so remember to always be patient with him\her. Please listen to the following steps and you should know how to teach your puppy tricks in know time. I hope you enjoy my presentation as much as I did.- Thank you.
- 4. Things you need in order to do this are: .Dog toys A harness Sturdy Leash Dog treats And a wide open space Dont furrrget a smile on your face and patience.! ;) A puppy
- 5. Step # 1: First of all your going to pick one of the following on the list of the different types of tricks. But today ill pick for you. How to sit How to lay down How to shake < *** How to fetch How to roll over How to play dead How to stop barking
- 6. So we picked how to shake! The #2 thing that your going to do is Have your dog sit in the open space with you. You have to make sure that it's sitting though.
- 7. Once the dog Is sitting your going to say shake and or\ take his left paw and say the command sit. Once the command is said the dog will memorze it better.
- 8. Now after the command has been spoken and you have lifted up his\or\her paw, your going to take a treat(any kind) and say good shake. Remeber to praise the dog after every time so when you say it,.. it will incourage the dog to want to do it more times! Like this! Like this! Good Dog!
- 9. Make sure that the praise is not repeated to many times\ even though you always want to praise your dog.
- 10. I hope that you enjoyed my presentation. By now hopefully, by listeing to my steps, you now have tought your dog how to shake. I just actually tried it with my dogs and i suceeded. If you didn't then remeber to be patient and always keep trying! Thank you!
