- 3. Log in to admin panel by entering username and password
- 5. In the admin panel, locate and click on ‘catalog’ button on top left hand side of menu bar. A drop down menu will appear.
- 7. Select ‘manage product’ from the drop down menu.
- 9. Click on ‘add product’ option in ‘manage product’ page.
- 11. In create product settings, choose default against attribute setting and choose simple product against product type.
- 13. Select ‘general’ section from product information. Fill in the product specifications accordingly.
- 15. Similarly, select ‘prices’ section and quote the price for that product.
- 17. Select ‘image’ section and upload a corresponding image from your system.
- 21. Select ‘inventory’ section for managing the quantity of product and whether it's in stock or not.
- 23. Select ‘categories’ section and assign a category to the added product. For example, samsung galaxy note 4 will be placed in smartphone category.
- 25. Click on ‘save’ button on top right hand corner of the page. Your product has been successfully added.
