The Microsoft Limited Public License (Ms-LPL) governs use of accompanying software. It grants contributors copyright and patent licenses to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute, make, use, sell, or dispose of the software or their contributions. However, these licenses are subject to conditions, including retaining copyright and license notices, and are limited to software running on Microsoft Windows. The licenses terminate if a patent claim is brought against a contributor regarding patents infringed by the software. The software is licensed "as-is" without warranties.
