Step 1 (Summary report)
• Log in to paytronix with your log in, or your supervisors log in.
• Each individual has specific access based upon their log in name.
• Sometimes, it is better to use your supervisors log in if they have
more insights than you might.
Step 2
• You should next go to the report center that is located on the left
column of the website, it is listed in between “quick find” and
“customer service.”
• You will then see a drop down menu of all the different reports you’re
able to run.
• You can then decide whether to run a summary report, or a detail
report depending upon what item you’d like to look at.

Step 3
• For our example, we can choose loyalty overview.
• Once loyalty overview is chosen, we see that the option is a summary
report.
• Click the summary report to move onto the next page.
• Once you click, you will see a page that you can enter specific
information, to best fit your data.
• The date range, store, card templates, wallets, ability to group by, and
prepend wallet codes are all different options.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 4
• For our loyalty report, we can select the 1st quarter of the year 2016.
Therefore, we will enter 1/1/2016 in the “from” and 3/31/2016 in the
“to” date ranges, located beneath the manual date entry area.
• We can also pick the store we want results from, so we can pick
Phillips Atlantic City, by entering the code PAC.
• We could also select all stores by checking the “All” checkbox.
• Then we select a card template, which for our purposes, would be
Friends of Phillips.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 5
• Moving along, we can then select what metrics we’d like to see within
the wallet checkbox area.
• We can check total spending and micro spending, because we know
both are recorded at this location.
• We can also check off visits, to see how many guests visited the
location.
• We’ll then group by tier, so we can see the tier divide between
Friends of Phillips non VIP members, and Friends of Phillips VIP
members.
Step 6
• Click submit after entering in all the information you’d like to see on the
report.
• You will be given a brief summary report that appears on the page.
• You have the option to download this summary report into an excel file,
which is extremely useful for creating reports with multiple pages.
• In order to download as an excel file, click the blue words labeled
“Download XLS.”
• The next slide will show the page example of a summary report, along with
a following image of how the report looks in an excel file.
• Make sure to enable editing on the new excel folder once downloaded.

Step 1 (Detail Report)
• Follow steps 1 and 2 of making a summary report to get to the report
center.
• We will then select the detail button located to the right of “Guest
Analysis” to create a detailed report.
Step 2
• Once you have selected detail report, you will be directed to a new
page (listed in the slide below)
• This page gives you the option to select a premade filter, or create a
filter of your own.
• For the sake of this tutorial, we will create an entirely new filter.
• To do so, click the large blue button that reads “create new filter”
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 3
• Once the button is clicked, we will see a new page (listed in the next
slide.)
• We can then name the filter, and then begin creating specific
measures to get an excel sheet, based upon what we enter.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 4
• Now that we can begin creating the filter, we can select specific
metrics for said filter.
• For our example, we will find information based upon the following
measures
• Friends of Phillips Members (non VIP and VIP)
• Members who are located within the state of Maryland
• Members who have been active within the first quarter of 2016
• We will name this filter “Recently Active Maryland Members Q1 2016”
Step 5
• We will first select the program template.
• This can be found under the box that says “Get # of Matching
Accounts”, in the box below where you can search conditions.
• Press the “Program Template” button, it is a circle.
• This will then open a new box, in which you can select Friends of
Phillips in the available check list box.
• Use the “>” button to move the program template from the available
column into the selected column.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 6
• Once we have our program template selected, we can move along to
selecting members who live within the state of Maryland.
• To do so, click on the “Profile” button, located in the same drop down
menu as program template.
• Once clicked, the profile button (which looks like a persons head) will
drop down in to more categories, about the members profile.
• You can see options to choose from including account status, address,
age, etc.
• We will select “State or Province.”
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 7
• After we click the state button, a new drop down list will appear on
the left beside the conditions.
• You will see a complete list of states and provinces.
• We only need to select Maryland, so search through the
alphabetically sorted list to Maryland, and then press the “>” button
to place it into the included states.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 8
• We next need to select the date of activity.
• The activity button can be found right below the profile button on the
right hand side, listed with conditions.
• The button looks like a shopping cart.
• We can then open the drop down menu, and select “Date Used”,
which was when the card was used.
• We’ll enter the dates 1/1/2016 and 3/31/2016 in the date range bar.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 9
• We can now name our filter, as we have all the necessary information
we wanted to create it.
• This filter will be called “Active Maryland Guests Q1 2016”.
• Where the account filter name is, press “save and continue”, and
move on to Step 10.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 10
• After you press save and continue, you will be brought to a page where you
can customize the output that the report will give you.
• There are available metrics, and metrics that have already been pre-
selected.
• You can pick and choose whatever you’d like to see.
• Below the “Run Demographic Report”, we can press a button titled “Add
Wallets to Output”.
• With this button we can see metrics like total spend, visits, lifetime
spending, etc. These are important for us to know, so we’ll select visits and
total spend.
• After these metrics are selected, click the “Run Report” button.
How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 11
• After you run the report, you will be brought to a page where you can
download the information as an excel file (download option located
at the bottom of the page)
• This page shows the filter name, account filters, and account filter
summary.
• It also shows the metrics we wanted to see toward the lower portion
of the page.

Step 12
• Download and open the excel file that paytronix has created, based
on our requirements.
• Depending on your specific requirements and metrics, it may take a
while to download.
• Be sure to enable editing once the detail report is downloaded, and
then you can begin looking at and editing the data.
• Every member shown on the list will be a member that fits our
specific criteria.
• Scroll left to right to reveal different information about each guest.

How to Use Paytronix by Michael Schwartz
Step 13
• Begin filtering and using the data for your own purposes.
• You can use excel to add and create different filters to streamline the
data.
• For example, if you add filters, you can add one that goes over total
spending.
• We can then go so far as to filter out members with 0 total spend, as
their information may not be as useful to us.
• Adding and removing filters can be searched and selected in the “Tell
me what you want to do” search bar.
