HOW TO search for partners using the ‘Partner Finding Forum’ – New Desktop The very popular Partner Finding Forum has been improved with the launch of the new eTwinning Desktop, there are now specific forums for 3 age ranges (4-11, 12-15 and 16-19) and one for eTwinners looking for Comenius partners. This guide will show you how to use the Forum to successfully find eTwinning and Comenius partners. 1.1 How to post a message in the Partner Finding Forum Step 1 – Navigate to the Find eTwinners tab Step 2 – Select which Partner Finding Forum you wish to explore (in this example Age group 12-15) STEP 1 STEP 2
- 2. Step 3 – To post a message in the forum click Create Message STEP 3 Step 4 – Give your post a catchy title to attract other eTwinner’s attention and then write your message. Be clear and concise about what kind of school you are looking to work with, what your project ideas are and how old your pupils are as well as other relevant information. You can tag your post with specific school subjects and your desired communication language and you can also add any other key words in the Tags box. When you are happy with your message you can publish it by clicking Post Your Message
- 3. STEP 4 People will now be able to see you message and respond to you easily through the forum. 1.2 How to reply to a message in the Partner Finding Forum Step 1 – Click on the message that you wish to read
- 4. STEP 1 Step 2 – You can read the original post and all replies and respond to any of the messages by clicking Reply or to reply whilst quoting the message click Quote STEP 2 Step 3 – Write your reply in the message box. You can also mark your response with specific subjects, language or tag with any other key words. Click Post your message and your response will appear in the message thread.
