between these two poems since they share many romantic features. Autumn and After Apple Picking
are both alike and different in many ways. Alexander Pushkin was born in Moscow, Russia and lived
from 1799 until 1837. He wrote from a very young age, not only writing poetry, but also dramas and
novels. He died in a duel when he was 39 years old. Autumn is a poem that contains many of the
elements of romanticism. The first quality is feelings. This whole poem oozes the feelings of Pushkin.
The first line is October comes at last. The feeling of relief is obvious, and there is a sense of an event
finally coming. It is as if his patience was being tested and wearing thin. He could hardly wait for
autumn. In the second stanza he writes, This is my time! What is the spring to me? Spring makes me
ill: my mind is never free from dizzy dreams, my blood s in constant ferment. He clearly does not like

We have been watching the in school performances for the Drama Theatre Arts classes every year
since eighth grade. To be apart of what I saw on stage was certainly a compelling experience. Being in
Drama Club, I understood what I was getting myself into. It was great to still being with students like

Dutch painter from (1664 1750) from Amsterdam. Her flower pieces were highly prized and during

As the Building a Boise Bridge project continues, I have really enjoyed getting to know the teachers
and students working on this project a little more! This project takes place at Taft Elementary School,
which is a public school in the Boise School District. Unfortunately, with the session on Thursday the

The students watched this video, then discussed what they thought were the important take aways. The
main points the teachers seemed to want the students to take away from that video is what causes earth
quakes, what are the strongest type of earthquake, and how do we measure earthquakes. The second
video the class watched, showed video footage of the aftermath of some earthquakes that have
happened in history. The video showed destruction of buildings, and how earthquakes can cause
tsunamis and the destruction that tsunamis also cause. The point of this video was to show the students
how important the engineering of building is, and got them to start thinking about their own bridges

As teenagers ourselves, we know that most will want to be rebellious at some point. An illegal option,
alcohol makes for a perfect way for teens to be rebellious. With a minimum legal drinking age of 21,
many teenagers are able to use drinking as a rebellious act. If the drinking age were 18, it would be
different. A 19 year old could not drink to rebel. A large part of what makes alcohol so appealing to
teenagers is its forbidden nature. Forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest. People want what they cannot
have. Having a minimum legal drinking age of 18 would eliminate the desirable forbidden aspect,
thereby making drinking less attractive to teens.
