How to Write an Adventure
Story

What is an adventure story?
 An account of imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment.
 In an adventure story, someone leaves everything he or she knows, faces danger
and excitement along the way, and with a little luck, gets to his or her final
destination safely and with a story to tell. Adventure stories have been around
since Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.
6 Elements of a Good Adventure Story
1. A hero.
2. A quest.
3. An unfamiliar environment.
4. An unfamiliar environment.
5. An element of risk.
6. A transformation.
10 Tips for Writing an Adventure Story
 Read popular novels with an adventure theme.
 Structure your story with the basic adventure framework.
 Create a compelling character.
 Introduce a catalyst.
 Have a supporting character.
 Find a setting that elevates the risk.
 Think about pacing.
 Increase the risk.
 Set a timer.
 Allow your protagonist to transform
