This document discusses an experiment that tested the effects of the Stroop effect on accuracy, response time, and self-confidence levels. The Stroop effect occurs when the written name of a color does not match the color it is printed in, creating interference. The experiment aimed to see if this created interference affected performance and confidence on a Stroop test. Previous studies that used the Stroop test to examine the effects of factors like lunch/sociability and hypnosis are also briefly mentioned.
