Mandi Kobasic, Vice President Global Accounts
                Diverse Experience: Since 1998 ---worked for private event venues, major
                hotel brands & independent hotels in multiple markets. Planned events
                for 2000 guests in the streets of San Diego, and managed small
                C-level Executive golf retreats for the most discerning clients at the most
                prestigious golf resorts in the world.

                Opened: Stingaree San Diego, The Witherby, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.

                Positions held: Event Manager, Convention Services Manager,
                Sales Manger, Director of Sales & Marketing, Senior Account Director.

                Hotel Management Company Knowledge: I have been on the cutting
                edge decision making end and leadership roles for: Starwood Hotels,
                Caesars Entertainment, & Tarsadia Hotels & Hard Rock Hotels.

Site Selection Services - Process


THE SEARCH:
  • We will learn the details of your meeting; objective, location preference,
    number of rooms, meeting space requirements, attendee demographic, etc.

  • We conduct a confidential hotel site search through our centralized
    purchasing system.

  • Benefits of Confidentiality and Centralized Purchasing:
      – Eliminate phone calls and emails from hotels
      – Guard against yield management
      – Leverage HPN lead volume to get best offer
      – CPS team is fast and efficient in collecting hotel availability

Site Selection Services - Process


      • The results of this search are compiled into an easy to read
        report with basics about each property that fits your needs in
        each desired location.

      • You will receive this report in 48 to 72 hours.

      • Once you have narrowed the list down to the top choices, we will
        go back to those properties to negotiate the best overall
        package.
      • If you plan to visit the properties before making a decision, we
        will make all the necessary arrangements and prepare your
        itinerary. We will contact hotels and setup site tour times. If you
        are unable to tour a hotel, we will reach out to our network.
Contract Negotiations




Contracts:
    – Will review all contracts to ensure your important terms are in the contract,
      your risk is managed and financially the terms are fair. We scrub every detail.
    – If applicable, use pre-negotiated contracts with hand picked hotel chains.
    – Attrition and cancellation commitments are negotiated to minimize your
      financial exposure
    – Ensure appropriate concessions are included such as complimentary rooms,
      upgrades, discounts on food and beverage, audio visual etc
    – Review meeting requirements, breakouts, set-up times and desired hotel
      space to ensure these details are confirmed in the contract
    – Our established accounts and impressive reputation with the world’s largest
      hotel chains allow us to pass the savings on to your program
