The document proposes using controlled explosions in space to propel spacecrafts to high speeds. It suggests focusing the energy from a nuclear explosion onto a protected spacecraft fragment using Munroe effect, imparting it with tremendous kinetic energy. This would allow velocities far greater than conventional propulsion and enable exploring farther distances with multiple spacecrafts sent simultaneously. Challenges around materials survival and detonation location are addressed. Advantages include minimal damage to planets and establishing a transportation "pipeline" in space.
