- 1. FNBE 0125 – Introduction to the Construction Industry 1/2 SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE· BUILDING· DESIGN FNBE 0125 - CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY INFO PANEL ASSIGNMENT 1 (Group 10%) Objectives: 1. To introduce the scope of work handled by professionals and sub-professionals in their respective professions both in the public and the private sectors in Malaysia. 2. To enable students to develop an understanding of the building team, its organization, their duties, responsibilities and the inter-relationship within which they will seek employment, career progression or further study. 3. To learn about the general overview of construction industry from mankind perspective derived from different point of views. 4. To assess the students understanding on the general construction process from the sketch plan to completion of a building and introduce the scope of work handled by the players involved. 5. To develop graphic skills in summarizing the information such as (but not limited to) definition, construction process, team players, classification, stages in construction etc. Task (GROUP) 1. To carry out an in depth study to get as much information and references about CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. 2. The lecture 1 and 2 might be one of the resources but you are REQUIRED to incorporate extra information as elaboration or further explanation about Construction Industry. 3. Discuss with your team members on the arrangement of your info panel. The arrangement layout of your panel should also incorporate some images whichever necessary. 4 The arrangement layout should be interesting, neat and clear. Format of Submission 1. Min 2 Max 3 nos of A2 size mounting boar 2. No printing 3. Can be in collage style
