The Asia-Pacific Institute of Management in New Delhi is organizing an international conference on information technology from January 15-17, 2013. The conference will feature keynote speeches, paper presentations, panels, and workshops on topics related to IT and its impact on business and society. Authors are invited to submit original research papers by December 15, 2012 for peer review. The top three papers will receive cash prizes. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and selected papers will be published in a refereed journal. Registration is required by January 31, 2013 and includes access to all conference events and materials. Limited funding is available for deserving participants.

Today, from being embedded in the smallest appliance to being the back bone of the way the world communicates and Businesses transact, the Information Technology is cutting across all realms of human existence. IT is touching the lives of even those who do not even know that it exists. However deep may be the intent and effort, no enterprise or being today can perform and exist without using Information Technology. The recent advances in information technology, combined with the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, generate new challenges and problems to the present day information society. The objective of the conference is to provide a focal forum for active researchers, practitioners, industrial professionals and academicians from diversified domains in Information Technology and to share latest research achievements and practical experiences. This conference is intended to delineate the greatest challenges faced with the businesses and society at large. The Conference will feature keynote presentations by prominent researchers in the field. - 3. Best Paper Awards Three best paper awards will be given in the valedictory session of the conference. The Best papers will be selected on the basis of the quality of the research paper and the presentation by a panel of experts. The first best paper award will carry a cash award of USD500 (or INR 25000) and citation. The first and second runner-up will also be awarded prize and citation. Publication All the accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN, which will be available at the time of the Conference. Selected papers will also find place in the special issue of a refereed journal of international repute after regular review.
