A group of friends separates after seeing a scary movie. One person finds a lone shoe on the street but ignores it. When they arrive home, the same shoe is waiting and begins slapping their hands as they try to open their door, beating them into unconsciousness. The short film uses jump cuts between the friends separating and finding the shoe, then a match cut of the shoe appearing outside the person's home to increase fear and tension through surreal and unexpected events.
