Good News: Kingdom of God Greek term: BASILEA; from the Hebrew MALKUT – meaning “reign”; not “realm” or “domain” Greek BASILEA TO THEO (Kingdom of God) The fundamental mission of Christ: Mark 1:15 “ This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Reform your lives and believe in the gospel.”
- 6. What is the Kingdom of God? 1. God’s Gift! As such it has to be received (Faith)… 2. Reign of God (state of life) & Not a Domain (place) Exemplified in the Statue of Christ the King…God is King but man has freedom to accept or reject His reign. 3. State of Life wherein LOVE, JUSTICE, TRUTH, PEACE, JOY reign… 4. Demands METANOIA (repentance; change of heart) + FORGIVENESS (Our Father) 5. Starts HERE & NOW 6. To be fulfilled HEREAFTER (HEAVEN) 7. Kingdom of God is SALVATION

EVANGELIZATION IS… THE PROCLAMATION OF SALVATION FROM SIN: - A liberation from everything oppressive to man - A personal & communitarian liberation for the development of man in all dimensions and - A renewal of society in all its strata through the concrete application of the gospel truths in private & social life
