Brian Best gives a presentation where he discusses leveraging Sheridan College to further one's career, how to start and work for startups, and how to make the most of one's school experience outside of school. He addresses whether attendees will get jobs after college and things that will help get better jobs, such as posting online, building an online presence, and being present in the community. Best also discusses what startups are, the startup lifecycle including validating ideas and minimum viable products, and some thoughts on working with startups like watching compensation and burnout.
