Improvements from preliminary
- 1. Looking back at our groups preliminary task, what do we feel we have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
- 2. Camera AnglesThe progression from our preliminary task to our finished production in terms of camera angles is huge. The camera shots that featured in the preliminary task were not as complex or as clear as the ones that were featured in the final production.In the final production the camera shots captured all that needed to be seen with a smooth transition between the first shot and the one that followed that.
- 3. The story line The storyline has had a dramatic improvement from the preliminary task to the final product ‘Astray’ because it has a real gripping story line which will keep people engaged and keep them watching and wanting more.The storyline in the preliminary task was simple and to the point while we just got to grips with using the cameras, we weren't focusing on the storyline at that point where as the storyline used for the final product was more complex and appealed to our audience.

The EditingWe have learnt that through the form of editing rough pieces of footage that using the tools we were able to use it can completely transform it to make it look professional and easy to watch.The editing that was used in the preliminary task was very naturalistic and simple because we were just trying it out and didn't want to be too over the top.The editing on our final piece it was more in terms of the credits and the sounds that were used in the film opening to create tension and get people engaged.
