- 1. Lot of noise pollution during Ganesh festival. The malpractices taking place in the name of celebration of the festival. Water Pollution due to Ganesh Idol Immersion.
- 2. We found a need for environment protection looking at the rate at which the city environment is deteriorating & Our objective is creating awareness about eco-friendly Ganeshas
- 3. Interact with the local community, school teachers and ganesh mandals to bring awareness among them about eco friendly ganeshas. Environmental friendly festival celebration.
- 4. Trained the children and members in the community to prepare the Ganesh idols with clay and starch powder applying natural colours.
- 5. Conducted a training programme to bring the awreness about the environmental friendly ganesh festival celebration.
- 6. Conducted a rally with school children to bring awareness in the locality about the usage of natural colours and effects of the sound pollution caused by the celebrations.
- 7. People learnt the importance of the eco friendly ganesha. Brought down the pollution levels in the ponds and rivers. Brought down the noise pollution levels in the festival celebrations.
