Date: 6/10/2010<br />Social awareness campaign was held by the students of Epiphany School, near Jedhe Statue at Swargate, Pune.<br />Students of class VI carried a rally along with a street play which delivered the message of maintaining hygiene at public places and ‘restriction on use of plastic’.<br />The purpose behind this social awareness program was to draw the attention of the common mass towards environmental protection. <br />This campaign was part of Design for Change contest which has been carried out worldwide.<br />The street play was observed by Mr. Paygude (PSI Pune). He appreciated the staff and the students for taking up this wonderful initiative and creating awareness among the general public. He also distributed biscuits and water to the students.
