• SATYA BHARTI GOVT. PRIMARY SCHOOL SALGAWALI is
situated in the east and has 5 km distance from Achrol [small
town] which is placed on the NH 11C,in the north and has 30
km distance from jaipur.
– All peoples depend on agriculture and labouring to survive.
• Cultural Background:All peoples belong to hindu religion.and they
are so conscious for their traditions. males put on DHOTI –KURTA
and females put on LAHANGA-ODANI.
– They are uneducated. population explosion ,child marriage
and many types of social problems are common in their social
system.
• Role of Satya Bharti School in the Village:satya bharti school is
providing quality education to children of poor families. It works
specially for girl child education as well as welfare of society.
• Participation in ‘Design for Giving’ School Contest:we want to
remove above social problems from community and every member
is working for it.

- 1. Population explosion Our story of Change from Satya Bharti School,SALGAWALI, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bharti Foundation “Population explosion” problem is being changed.
- 2. • Bharti Foundation – Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies. – The prime objective is to bridge the existing education divide and make quality education accessible to underprivileged children in rural India. – The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country realize their potential. • Satya Bharti School Program – The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation. – It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus on the girl child across rural India. – Present Operational Status: • Number of Schools Operational: 236 • States of Operation: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Tamil Nadu • Number of Students Enrolled: Over 30,000 Introduction

- 4. • We felt that these people are not aware about negative impacts of population explosion and takes it lightly. • Specially women of this Dhani don’t know about the family planning. They feels shameful to talk on this type of topics with the family members. They belives that “Bahgwan agar Chonch Dega to Cugga bhi dega”. (Means God will decide How to mannage the food for each child, this is not the matter of our discussion.) • Many of them are poors and have many children. We ‘Felt’:
- 5. When we observed their problems at various occasion. we decide to bring the awareness about population explosion and its negative impacts in this community. We know that this not a easy task and it may be go against us because these peoples are very conscious with their personal issues. Then we decided to do it with the help of our little soldiers without any worry about the result. We ‘Imagined’: Photograph (If any)
- 6. • First of all we designed a plan to get our objective and discuss it with the participants of this activity. • Three groups were made of students of class fifth which were Shakti, Shanti & Vaibhav. • At the starting of our plan we went in the Dhani in a reilly with the posters of family planning. We arrange a Puppet show in the mid of our Dhani. In this show we try to show the bad impacts/losses of big family. We ‘Did’: Photograph (If any)
- 7. • When we present our show and other activities ,community members were taking interest. • They pledged that they will try control population explosion in the future.they said they will guide to other persons also. Impact on Community: Photograph (If any)
- 8. Our community gave full support to us and after that we are feeling motivated & energetic. Impact on Us: Now we are feeling so happy & satisfied and ready for next step.
- 9. Experience of Community Members & Teachers: • Teachers and community members felt that it is the dangerous problem for our social system. • Every person promised that he/she will try his best to remove this problem from the society. • We known, small family is happy family.
- 10. • We will do more publicity to get our objective and arrenge some meetings with ANMs,Doctors and the Sarpanch of the village. • We will introduce the sources to control the population increase. • We will focus on other problems like child marriage, diseases prevention.etc. The Road Ahead…..(in the next 3 months)
