Jessie is worried about her grades and has a confrontation with her strict teacher, Mr. Lewis. During lunch, she complains about Mr. Lewis to her friends Sarah, Zac, and Ryan. Elizabeth watches longingly from a distance, holding an notebook with Zac's name written in it. Jessie receives a mysterious text message that she hides from the group. The scene ends with an unidentified character smiling sinisterly alone in the empty school library.

- 1. 1. INT: SCHOOL CLASSROOM. LUNCHTIME JESSIE STANDS BESIDE TEACHERS DESK. JESSIE IS SCHOOL UNIFORM CARRYING PINK BAG. TEACHER STANDS WITH ESSAY IN HAND. MR LEWIS: And you know the deadline is the 6th right? JESSIE: Yes, I know. MR LEWIS: Right, well don’t get behind again Jessie. You need these grades. You can’t retake again. JESSIE WALKS OUT OF THE CLASSROOM WITH A LESS THAN IMPRESSED LOOK ON HER FACE. CUT TO: 2. INT: CORIDOOR OUTSIDE CLASSROOM. CONTINUED LUNCHTIME. SARAH WAITING OUTSIDE THE CLASS FOR JESSIE. JESSIE: If he keeps me behind one more time, I’ll go crazy SARAH: Oh yeah, I know. He does that to everyone I’m sure JESSIE: Worst teacher in the world... JESSIE AND SARAH WALK PAST THE CAMERA AND OUT OF THE SHOT CUT TO: 3. EXT: BENCHES IN THE SCHOOL COURTYARD ZAC AND RYAN ARE SAT ON A BENCH ZAC: So, if you play goalkeeper this week, then we’ll get back to normal next week. Tom is such a letdown. RYAN: Yeah. Ok. - 2. JESSIE AND SARAH WALK INTO SHOT AND SIT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SAME BENCH JESSIE: Hey babe (SHE REACHES ACROSS TO TOUCH ZACS HAND) ZAC: Alright Jess? JESSIE: Not really, I hate Mr Lewis so much ZAC: Know that feeling, what an idiot CAMERA PANS TO SARAH LOOKING SLIGHTLY WORRIED. CUT TO: CAMERA CUTS TO ELIZABETH LOOKING OVER AT THE GROUP FROM A SEPERATE BENCH. OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT SHOWS A NOTEBOOK WITH ZACS NAME WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. ELIZABETH HAS A SAD LOOK ON HER FACE. CUT TO: CAMERA CUTS BACK TO THE GROUP ON THE BENCH, WITH ELIZABETH STILL VISABLE IN THE BACKGROUND. SARAH: So if we all meet at half six on Friday then? RYAN: Yeah, that’s fine with me ZAC: Should be fine, yeah JESSIE: Sorted then, and... JESSIE CUTS HER WORDS SHORT AS HER PHONE GOES OFF. THE CAMERA ZOOMS IN ON JESSIE AS SHE REACHES INTO HER POCKET. CAMERA CUTS TO A CLOSE UP OF HER PHONE WHICH READS ‘ONE NEW MESSAGE’
- 3. CUT TO: CAMERA CUTS TO ZAC ZAC: Who was that then Jess? JESSIE: Oh, erm, no one, just my Mum JESSIE PUTS HER PHONE BACK INTO HER POCKET AND GIVES A NERVOUS SMILE 4. INT: EMPTY SCHOOL LIBRARY CAMERA CUTS SUDDENLY TO A MYSTERY CHARACTER SITTING IN THE LIBRARY WITH A PHONE IN HIS HAND. HE PUTS THE PHONE DOWN AND LOOKS DIRECTLY INTO THE CAMERA, WITH A SINISTER LOOKING SMILE ON HIS FACE. THE CAMERA ZOOMS OUT SHOWING IN ALONE IN AN EMPTY LIBRARY. _________ THE SCEEN FADES TO WHITE.
