application program for process control, the gathering of data in real time from remote locations to control
equipment and conditions. SCADA systems include hardware and software components. The hardware
gathers and feeds data into a computer that has SCADA software installed, where it is then processed and
presented it in a timely manner. Essentially, it is a system of software and hardware that allows to control
processes locally by monitoring, gathering and processing real-time data. SCADA system consists of

condition monitoring, raise alarms when thresholds are breached and ensure that your machines works
optimally. SCADA systems work perfectly for supervisors and are ideal for day-to-day monitoring of what is

The convergence of IT(Information Technology) and OT(Operation Technology) in IoT has been going on for a
while and there isn’t a strict division between them in the real world. The IoT is mainly about automating
processes using connected devices with a capacity to gather, receive and send information, embed
intelligence and connectivity into devices and set up processes and applications that open up a realm of new
