- 1. Initial Idea 3 Give Me A Try by The Wombats Minimal Affection by The Vaccines Mathilda by Little Comets
- 2. Brief My third idea, is very different from my other 2 initial ideas. I have recently finished watching the wombats new music video to their new single give me a try. The song lyrics present the words ‘just give me a try’, which present how the singer is looking for a relationship. My idea involves the protagonist going on multiple blind dates and many things go terribly wrong. It isn't till the end of the video when the protagonist gives up looking for dates. I have the potential to make the video very comical whilst also using intertextual relations such as social media etc.
- 3. If I was to use a male protagonist then the song featured would be Give Me A Try by the Wombats, or Mathilda by Little Comets. However if the protagonist is a female then I would have to consider a female voice. I would use a song by the artist Courtney Barnett, as her music is fairly new and different.
