Narrative Walking through a cemetery and being covertly watched by dolls, a girl walks up to a specific gravestone and puts down some flowers, then a hand grabs her and takes her away leaving the opening sequence a start to a scary mystery in the film. Locations Cemetery – stereotypical horror location. Inspired by films such as Drag me to Hell, Sleepy Hollow and the Others. Characters A young innocent girl A mysterious thing/person that grabs the girl Costumes Thing/person dressed in dolls clothes to fit in with the scary theme of dolls and children’s toys. Props Spooky dolls – inspired by the Childsplay films. Micro Elements: Camera, Editing, Sound and Mise-en-Scene Editing – some parts filmed in black and white to create a dark dull colour palette. Camera – over the shoulder shots to make it looks like the girl is constantly being followed Mise-en-scene – girl holding flowers to show her innocence and how she is unaware of being watched and followed Sound – a sound motif and minor key music could be used to build on the tension and eerie atmosphere.
