The initial inlay design took candid photos from the music video filming without the band's knowledge and printed and ripped them up to resemble indie CD designs seen before as added extras for buyers. To better link the inlay to the final cover, the background color needed changing. The partner designed the inlay sleeves while providing feedback and suggestions to improve each other's work, with the document author having input on the border color which was later changed based on target audience feedback.

- 1. Initial inlay design • The initial inlays were taken from conventions that we had discovered in some indie CD’s. this was to have photos from the music video in the CD as inlays as a sort of added extra that the buyer can see. • These photos were taken from the filming that I took as the band were getting ready without their knowledge, this makes the images much more real. To get the effect we printed them out and ripped them up, arranged them on a table to take the shot of them for the inlay. • To make the inlays better we needed to link it to the front cover so we had to change the background colour of this inlay so this isn't the final.
- 2. Design of Inlay sleeves • My partner took the job of designing the inlay sleeves while I edited the music video. We occasionally swapped seats to give feedback on what we had done and make suggestions as to what we thought each other could add to improve our products. • I had a hand in the colour of the boarder which we changed after receiving feedback from target audience.
