Input refers to any information, or data, that is
sent to a computer for processing.
Input is often sent to the computer from a device
such as a keyboard, mouse, or other input device.
Putting it simple, input is the act of entering
data into a computer.
Once the data has been entered into the computer
it can be processed and whatever instruction that
was commanded, can be carried out.

Input devices are pieces of
equipments used to provide
data and control signals to
an information processing
system such as a computer or
information appliance
5. MAIN FUNCTION OF INPUT DEVICES
The main function of an input
device is to allow users to send
and communicate various
information. Keyboards,
webcams, and speech recognition
could all be called input devices,
because a person can use them to
transmit all kinds of data.
11. OUTPUT
Output is any information that is
processed by and sent out from a
computer or other electronic device is
considered output. An example of output
is anything viewed on your computer
monitor screen, such as the words you
type on your keyboard. Without some
type of output that a human could see,
feel, or hear a human could not interact
with the computer. In the picture, the
bottom half shows data sent from a
computer to a printer, which is considered
a form of output.

Output devices are pieces
of computer hardware equipments
which converts information into a
human-readable form.
13. MAIN FUNCTION OF OUTPUT DEVICES
Output devices relay the
response from the computer
in the form of a visual
response (monitor), sound
(speakers) or media devices
(CD or DVD drives).
