- 2. What is Intel? • Intel is a technology corporation that “is committed to transforming the lives of millions by providing the tools and resources necessary to bring 21st century learning into each and every classroom.”

Intel Visual Ranking Tool • The visual ranking tool is a great way to help promote higher level thinking skills by enabling students to organize their ideas, debate differences, collaborate and reach consensus’. This tool provides visual data that can help support students learning experiences. This is a great tool that promotes critical thinking and reasoning skills.
- 4. Intel Seeing Reason Tool • The seeing reason tool is a form of mind map that enables students to create visual representations of the relationships between various subsets of specific concepts. This is a great tool for visual learners and can be used to delve deeper into learned concepts to create deeper meaning and internalization of learned information.

Intel Showing Evidence Tool • “This tool provides a visual framework to make claims, identify evidence, evaluate the quality of that evidence, explain how the evidence supports or weakens claims, and reach conclusions based on the evidence. This thinking tool also supports activities where students debate differences, make and defend decisions, and analyze conflicting information.” This tool is a great way to help facilitate argument writing which is a prominent component of the CCLS.

Additional Resources Intel Education Mobile Learning Mobile Scenarios for K-12 This section of the site provides users with information and links to programs and resources that promote mobile learning. It also provides a listing of apps that are mobile supported for educational use. This is an app that contains various scenarios that provides users with ideas and specific tools to integrate technology into their classroom to improve teaching and learning.
