- 4. Medium Shot Medium Shot (MS) THis is a shot that show a person from the waist up. Often there can be more than one person in the shot (two Shot) For what reason would you use this shot?
- 5. Close up Close Up (CU) THis is a shot that shows a person face from about the shoulders up Why would you use a close up?
- 6. High Angle Shot This is where the camera is placed above the object, looking down on the subject. What is the effect of this shot?
- 7. Low Angle Shot THis is where the camera is placed below the object, looking up at it. What is the effect of this type shot?
- 8. Watching So when you look at a shot consider: What is the shot type? What is the camera drawing our attention to? How does the shot type do this? What is the effect on the audience?
