Google Apps is a cloud-based suite of productivity and collaboration tools including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sites. It allows users to access documents and emails from any device with an internet connection. Google Apps provides automatic backups and does not require local IT infrastructure. While free for up to 50 users, it also offers paid business and non-profit plans. Microsoft Office 365 and other options like Zoho and Zimbra provide similar features.
