- 2. Our school This is an accredited State Secondary School which started in a different building in 1998. In 2009, we moved to our current location to a brand new colourful building.
- 3. Location Our school is located in the province of Huelva, South West Spain on the Atlantic coast. It is a mere 5 minutes from the city center and 30 minutes from the Portuguese border.
- 4. Our name... Our school is named after Juan Antonio Pérez Mercader, an internationally renowned expert in physics, cosmology and astronomy from Huelva.
- 5. People Nowadays we have approximately 450 students distributed in 6 grades. The staff consists of approximately 40 teachers, a secretary and janitorial services.
- 6. Studies Our student body generally comes from two primary schools in the catchment area. Here, students continue their Compulsory Secondary Education (Years 1, 2, 3 & 4). From 2014-15 we also offer Baccalaureate studies (Years 1 & 2).
