PowerPoint 2007 introduces many new features including improved text formatting options, enhanced graphics effects, new picture editing tools, the SmartArt feature for automatically converting bullet points to diagrams, Office Themes for coordinated formatting across documents, and new slide layouts. Users can now apply shadows, strikethrough, character spacing controls and more to text. Graphics have additional effects like soft shadows, reflections, glows and bevels. Pictures can now be recolored or have their frames shaped and all effects applied including 3D. SmartArt simplifies creating diagrams from bullet points. Themes ensure consistent formatting across PowerPoint files as well as Word and Excel. New layouts provide more options for arranging content.
