Microsoft Publisher 2010 is a program for creating publications like brochures and flyers that can be printed. It offers more control over layout than Word but has fewer features than Word or PowerPoint. To use Publisher, basic knowledge of Word or PowerPoint is helpful. The ribbon interface contains commands, and viewing tools allow controlling layout on screen for editing. Rulers, guides, and other tools aid in object placement. The Backstage view houses save/print options in a full page interface. An activity demonstrates use of the ribbon, tools, and guides.
