Bitcoin
First decentralized digital
currency.
Introduced in 2008 by Satoshi
Nakamoto.
peer to peer payment system.
Also called Crypto-currency.
How Bitcoin Works ?
 Balances – Block chain
 Transactions - Private keys
 Processing – Mining
Balances – Block chain
 It is a shared public ledger.
 The whole Bit-coin network relies on it .
 It includes all the confirmed transactions.

Transactions – Private keys
 A transfer of value between bitcoin
wallets that gets included in the block
chain.
 First transaction in a bitcoin is a special
transaction it start a new coin.
 Bitcoin wallet keeps a secret piece of
data which is called private key or seed
which is used to sign transactions.
Processing - Mining
 Required for the existence of bitcoin
network and generation of new bitcoins .
 It enforces a chronological order in the
block chain, protects the neutrality of the
network, and allows different computers
to agree on the state of the system.
Bitcoin faucet :-
 Was developed by Galvin Anderson in
2010.
 Bitcoin faucet are a reward system in
the form of a web or an application, that
dispenses rewards in the form of satoshi
which is a hundreds of a millionth BTC.
