- 8. Getting Started Go to my.geneseo.edu and click on the Handshake icon. Use your Geneseo Central Authentication to complete the log in. With increased engagement on Handshake, be mindful of job scams. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is! Notify Career Design with any concerns. Remember to check your messaging tab and emails from Handshake for outreach from employers. Engage with Handshake for 5 minutes each day.
