This document summarizes research comparing three retail analytics tools - Qlikview, IBM Cognos Insight, and Tableau. The research was conducted in two stages: first researching the tools, then using sample retail data to design dashboards in each tool. Real-time retail inventory data was also captured using Bluetooth beacons and analyzed in Excel. The goal was to evaluate how each tool processes and analyzes mixed retail data sources to design dashboards and provide insights for management decision making. Addressing challenges of filtering mixed retail data and providing real-time analytics could help Pakistani retailers improve business strategies and meet customer needs.
