This document contains the reflections of a student (Yaser Abuhmaid) on the role of ICT in education from the perspectives of a teacher and learner. As a teacher, they believe rejection of ICT would be against common sense, but that thoughtful planning is still important. They also do not see being a "digital immigrant" as an excuse to avoid technology. As a learner, they recognize challenges of ICT but think individuals can use it wisely with exploration and handling challenges independently. Overall, they support ICT in education as it allows teachers' dreams to come true through increased accessibility, time savings, access to information, and enhanced interactive learning experiences.
